I was excited for this book because it contained another Mageverse story and I was sad when the series ended. Well, I should have just re-read previous books from the series. I only got through the first short story "Oath of Service" before calling it quits. This features Morgana Le Fay and her trusty bed partners, I mean trusty Knights of the Round Table. Morgana is a leading character that I had previously loved due to being a strong women. Well, in this story we find out that she is a submissive and Sir Percival is a dominate. After a mission goes wrong, Morgana is ordered by Arthur to give Percival (one of her teammates) her oath of service. Obviously oath of service=bondage and submission.
Knight does warn the reader in a blurb in the being that this book will be kinky, sex, filled and full of BDSM, but I thought there would be enough action and magic to carry me through. Nope. Just sex. I returned this book after finishing the story. Not worth my time or money.

I am torn about this book. I wish it would have been the first of the series, not the last. However it gave me a completely different perspective about King Arthur and Gwen.
I was so glad to read another story from the Magverse series. I would love to read more from this world she created. The other two stories were also good. I always look forward to read books from this author - she is an auto buy for me!
If you like Angela knight - you will like this book. Last of the Mageverse books, I think for me, I have enjoyed the whole series.
SOOOOO HOT!!! I have been a devoted fan of Angela Knight's for almost 15 years and have never been disappointed!!! I LOVED the storyline of Morgana and Percival!!! I don't want to see the Mageverse series end!! She always delivers excitement and STEAMY SEX!!!! I have read just about everything she has had published and can't wait to read more!!! This is a must read!!!!
The first story from “Love Bites,” called "Oath of Service," takes such an unexpected twist – and turn and sizzle – on the well-known legend of King Arthur, the Knights of the Round Table and Ladies of the Court that I had to stop reading this book a few times to re-calibrate my expectations. But I’m glad I kept reading it. True to her captivating writing style, Angela Knight blends magic, action, power dynamics, kinky sex, revenge, deep secrets, vampires and witches, and explosive endings in this very naughty book.
Really three and a half stars. I wasn't crazy about the first story (way to long to get to the point) the second story was ok, but when talking about hardcore sex between vampires it would make sense that nothing is really going to hurt to much (since they are VAMPIRES). I did enjoy the third story it was about vampires in space in the future and how they capture a female human that they think they will be able to control....She gets the last laugh. This is the first time I've tried one of Angela Knight's books, and only because it had more than one story. ( I do like anthologies) I don't know if I'd get anything by her again unless it was on sale and it had more than one story. Wish she had made the last story longer ,,,,,,;)
Don't buy this one unless you really, really like extended and graphic scenes about humiliating domination and painful bondage. Turns out the hero (and his two buddies) are sadists who don't like Morgan very well and she is punished for misbehavior at their last battle by having to give up total control for a year. What is done to her would be considered torture, except she discovers she really likes it. There's a "happy" ending where she true bonds with one primary fated lover, but happiness for them will still be extraordinarily full of freely given and accepted pain. This is pretty hard core, so I wouldn't recommend it for just the curious. Not much "romance" but lots of sex. I expected a little kink from Knight, but not to this extent. She says herself in her introduction that if you don't like hard core BDSM, you won't like this. Unfortunately, since we are buying now mostly electronically and have not ruffled through the books and read the intro as we might have in the old days of real book stores, you won't have this information until you've bought the book!
